Hi, I’m Ann Marie Dundas.

As an Occupational Therapist, I have worked in various traditional healthcare settings for more than 16 years. My passion for education has taken me on a life-long journey. I have specialized in Neurological rehabilitation, Hand Therapy and Amputee Rehabilitation while working in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. All the while noticing there was a stark difference between a patient’s performance and compliance in the clinic and their reports from home. I had the opportunity through the years to see clients in context of their lives through home visits. This type of engagement provided a unique lens to address challenges patients didn’t even know were holding them back. I learned so much about the shortcomings of traditional medicine and saw a path to a more effective way to practice through in-home therapy!

When I became a Mom, I experienced some of my own health challenges that shook me to my core. I developed Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), POTS and severe Iron Deficiency Anemia. This was my call to action and when I began a more than 6 year learning journey. I started with a Functional Nutrition for Women’s Health Coaching Certification through the The Integrative Women’s Health Institute. The more I learned and applied to my own health, the more I wanted to know! This led to my education with The Institute For Functional Medicine and their certified practitioner program. I found a way to manage my own health through an integrative approach that worked best for me, using the tools I learned through my formal healthcare education, my local healthcare team and the functional medicine education I’ve obtained over the years. From undergraduate education in Biology and Psychology, graduate work in Occupational Therapy and post graduate certifications in Medical Therapeutic Yoga, Functional Nutrition Health Coaching, and most recently studying at the Institute For Functional Medicine, where I am currently an IFMCP candidate, I keep pushing the envelope and try to support my clients in the most holistic approach possible.

Now I am here to walk with you, as you take on your health and wellness journey.
